Mangaluru: The prime accused in Fajir Church theft that took place about two months ago, has been arrested.

He is identified as Sahul Hameed. Four persons namely Azharuddin, Mushtaq, Afreez and Abdul Jaffer had been arrested earlier.

The police are on the hunt for another two accused.

Seven men had allegedly broke into the newly built Fajir church and decamped with cash amounting upto Rs 1 lakh and a laptop on November 23 night.

A case had been registered at Konaje police station.
