Mangaluru: Over a thousand Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) activists including young boys, participated in the route march carried out by the Mangaluru unit on Sunday January 31.

The activists began the march from Nehru Maidan and walked through via State Bank, Bunder, Car Street temple square, Hampankatta junction back to Nehru Maidan.

The annual route march was supposed to be held on the day of Vijayadashami, but was cancelled due to heavy rain.
Mangaluru District Convener of RSS Dr Sathish Rao, Dr Vaman Shenoy, PS Prakash and Jagadish Shenavar were present among other Hindu leaders.
