Mangalore:  A grand welcome was given to the President of India  Pranab Mukherjee, who arrived at Mangalore Airport on Friday July 18, enroute Kasargod.

Pranab Mukherjee was welcomed by B Ramanatha Rai Karnataka State Minister of Forest, Environment and Ecology along with Mangalore Mayor Mahabala Maarla and Deputy Commissioner AB Ibrahim.

Mukherjee is scheduled to attend the first convocation of the Central University of Kerala at Kasargod. He will also be the chief guest for the platinum jubilee celebrations of the College of Engineering in Thiruvananthapuram.
