Mangalore: Pranavananda Swami, President of Bharath Kranthi Sena has demanded an explanation from JD(S) President HD Deve Gowda, Kumaraswamy and  and other leaders  for the party forging into an alliance with the Social Democratic Party of India(SDPI).

Speaking to reporters in the city on Friday, April 11, he dubbed the SDPI as a ‘terrorist party’ and alleged that it had links with the dreaded ultras Yasin and Riyaz Bhatkal.

Making another serious allegation, Pranavananda Swami said “Deviprasad Shetty, Udupi District JD(S) President  had met PDP leader  Madani and had even demanded his release.”

He further charged veteran writer UR Ananthamurthy of spreading rumours against Gujarat CM and BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi.

Pranavananda also touched upon the recent Kodikere issue and  urged MLA Moidin Bava to withdraw his statement about Kodikere and also demanded that all cases registered against residents of Kodikere should be withdrawn. He said  Hindu organisations of the area would be meeting to take a decision and warned that corporator Pratibha Kulai would  be responsible if any untoward incident takes place.
