Mangalore : State DYFI President Muneer Katipalla has made a mockery of State Health Minister UT Khader by stating that   the minister was shedding crocodile tears just to draw votes of the people.

Speaking at an election campaign  meet in favour of CPI(M) at Naringana village, he said  the minister who was in Bangalore when innocent youth of Ullal were arrested and sent to Bellary jail, was now  making promises that he would  undertake an IGP level probe, after realising that he Muslim voters of Ullal have turned up against the Congress.

“It has been four months since Ullal clashes occurred. Still, the minister has made no effort to secure justice until now.  Khader himself is stating that they were fixed in false cases. When he cannot ensure justice to them, it is better for him to tender resignation as minister,” Muneer Katipalla said.

Several leaders including Jeevanraj Kuttar, Ullal DYFI Secretary, SFI District President Nitin Kuttar, Hamza Kinya and Faizal Montepadavu were present.
