Karkala : “Extra-curricular activities contribute to personality development and also help students lead a healthy life. Summer vacations are the ideal time to take part in co-curricular activities,” said Ashok Kumar, Administrative Officer of Prakruti Group of Institutions, Sanoor in Kantavara village.








He was presiding over the inaugural function of a Prakruti Summer Camp organised by the Group from April 1 to 5. He said the Prakruti Group has organised the camp not only in the interests of its students, but also students of the town and elsewhere. The children will be taught dance, yoga, swimming, skating, Taekwondo, acting, personality development, sand sculpture, painting and traditional agricultural activities at the camp.
Gerald Crasta, Chairman of Prakruti Group earlier inaugurated the camp by lighting the traditional lamp. Raghavendra Shenoy, Principal was present among others.
Usha, teacher, rendered the invocation. Prameela Suresh, Lecturer compered the programme. Ramakrishna Hegde, lecturer proposed the vote of thanks.
