Mangalore: The District-in-Charge Minister Ramanatha Rai addressed the media at Congress office here on Sunday March 23 ascertaining the details of the up-coming Lok Sabha elections.

“We are certain of winning at least 20 or more seats in Karnataka”, said a confident Ramanatha Rai, further to which he also said that Former union minister and current Lok Sabha candidature Janardhan Poojary will submit his Nomination papers on March 26 to the Deputy Commissioner.

Ramanatha Rai praised the veteran Congress leader Janardhan Poojary for his tremendous work towards the party and welfare of the nation, however while questioning why was the last day of nomination chosen to put up the paper, Rai diverted the topic.

Concluding to which he also informed that the Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha Constituency Election Campaign office for Congress will be inaugurated at Exotica Building at Balmatta.

The Union minister Oscar Fernandes will be inaugurating the office on March 24, Monday at 9.30 am.
