Poojary attacks Modi, says he insulted ‘Kannadigas’

Mangalore :Congress leader Janardhana Poojary slams Bharatiya Janata Party prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, asying him of insulted Kannadigas by speaking in a “derogatory” manner against the former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda.

The statements issued by Modi will prove costly for the BJP in the Lok Sabha election in Karnataka.

Reacting sharply to Modi’s statements that he would make arrangements for Gowda’s stay at an old-age home in Gujarat after the Lok Sabha election, on this Poojary said, “Gowda, who is a senior politician did not need shelter in Gujarat. First let Modi look after his wife then I will salute him with respect.”

He was speaking to the reporters on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, he stated that Modi look after his wife then he will become the real human being.

On Netravathi, Poojary commented that I will not allow to implement the Netravathi diversion project as it is not an order from SC and I oppose this project.

Also, he said that if 80 percent of the people submit affidavit then the Niddodi project will be cancelled and people have the right to stop this.
