Kasargod:Hosadurga police have arrested a  person on the charges of sexually harassing a woman on the pretext of sorcery. The arrested man is Moidin alias Mohammad (62) of Avikkere. He  hailed from Payyanur but resided in Kanhangad since the past ten years and had also married as many as five times.

He was arrested as per the complaint lodged by the wife of a Madarasa teacher of Payyanur. It is learnt, the accused on the pretext of solving the marital problem of the 30 year old woman, had sexually harassed her. Though the woman had approached the  black magician  along with her husband, the latter had made the husband wait outside while he took the woman inside,  saw to it that she fainted and then sexually harassed her.

It is learnt, he had even charged a fee of Rs 10,000 for this treatment. The incident is said to have occurred on April 10, 2013.

Sources said several women approached this man for treatment and he had faced such an allegation even several times in the past. It is learnt, the police had not taken the allegations in the past seriously as none had lodged a complaint.
