Moodbidri : The election officer of Moodbidri has lodged a suo moto complaint against DK Congress candidate Janardhana Poojari for violating the model poll code of conduct during the Congress Padayatra at Moodbidri on March 16, Sunday.

The Election officer Dr Ashok  has also lodged a suo moto complaint against Mumbai corporator Santosh Shetty. Both are facing charges of  making personal abuse  during the Padayatra.

The election officer will  scrutinize the video clipping of the programme submitted by the sector officials and send the  same to the district election officer for further   action.
