Kasaragod: The Kasaragod town police seized large quantity of cracker stocks hidden in a truck based on definite tip off on April 6.

The truck heading towards Kasaragod from Mangaluru was intercepted by the cops. On verification, large amount of cracker stocks were found hidden amid other goods.

Truck driver Santhosh and cleaner Shivaprasad were nabbed immediately.

Further investigations are in progress to assess the reasons behind the illegal shipment.
