Police raid house in Bantwal, rescue 8 cattle, seize valuables worth Rs 5.28 lac

Bantwal: The police raided a house at Ammemmar in Pudu village on Saturday and seized valuables worth RS 5.28 lac and rescued eight cattle. 

Acting on a tip off, the police raided the residence of Masoor here. Mansoor, his brother Latheef and friend Tasneem escaped the spot.

When the police raided one cattle was slaughtered while eight others were kept tied inside the house. The police seized Innova car, three bikes and weapons used for slaughtering the cattle.

Case stands registered at Bantwal rural police station.
