Police nab man peddling ganja to youth

Bantwal: Acting on credible information, Vittal police arrested a person who was supplying ganja to youth in Bantwal area on June 24.
The accused, identified as Jalaluddin (30) is a resident of Palthaje in Kattathila in Salethur. The police have seized 850 grams of ganja worth Rs 7000 and an auto rikshaw worth Rs 1.50 lacs from the ganja peddler.

Jalaluddin was supplying ganja from Uppala to Salethur in an auto rikshaw when the police nabbed him. Earlier, a case was registered at Konaje police station against ganja supply. Ganja was being supplied to Salethur, Kudthamugeru, Madakatte and Bolaunthur area.

Vittal police inspector Prakash Devadiga, sub-inspector Ananda Poojary, staff Balakrishna, Jinnappa Gowda, Jayakumar, Praveen Rai, Rakshith Rai, Praveen Kumar, Ramesh and driver Raghuram were a part of the operation.
