Bengaluru: Siddaganga seer who was admitted to BGS Global hospital on the outskirts of Bengaluru was discharged after treatment today, when he showed signs of quick recovery.
The 109-year-old seer sprang a surprise when he refused to move on the wheel chair and preferred to walk till the main entrance of the hospital. His problem was related to indigestion and doctors from the hospital had noticed a blockage in the bile duct. The doctors managed to clear the blockage and the seer looked cheerful soon after the simple medical procedure. The medical procedure was conducted in a sitting position which the seer preferred as he has a hunch back. He offered prayers and performed routine activities without showing signs of illness during his stay in the hospital.
The police had arranged traffic free movement on the 80 KM stretch from the hospital to Tumkuru for the aged seer to facilitate ease in travel. Lot of leaders and people had gathered near the hospital and a big roar was heard when the Padma Bhushan award winning seer came out of the hospital to board his car.
It may be recalled the Karnataka Rathna Shivakumara Swamiji was admitted to the hospital yesterday after he complained of mild fever and chest pain.
