This was informed to reporters here on February 6, Thursday by Dr KS Madhava Rao, President of IPS-KC.
Eminent clinicians in the field of Child Psychiatry will speak on a variety of topics including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Externalizing Childhood Disorder, Eating Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Ethics in Child Psychotherapy. The programme will also include a mock examination for post graduate students in psychiatry. The Karnataka Medical Council has granted two credit hours for the CME.
The programme will be inaugurated by Prof MS Moodithaya, Registrar of Nitte University and Prof Dr Sathish Kumar Bhandary, Dean of KSHEMA will be the chief guest. Dr KS Madhava Rao, President of IPS-KC will preside over the event. It will be attended by Prof Kiran Kumar, president of MPS among others. This programme is aimed at benefitting psychiatry post graduate students from all over Karnataka.
