Mangaluru: The concluding ceremony of ‘Swacch Abhiyan’ conducted by the Ramakrishna Mission was held at Central Market, here on Sunday, September 29.

During this event, around 4000 volunteers from different organizations joined hands in the “Shramadana” activity, where they cleaned the surroundings of the Central Market.

Speaking during the occasion, vice president of the Belur Ramakrishna Mutt and Ramakrishna Mission Swami Gautamanandaji said, “People who work for the country will always be blessed. This event by the Ramakrishna Mission is a movement by itself.

He said that people should be aware that they should not throw waste in public places and expressed his happiness on maximum participation of youths.

Managing Director of MRPL M Venkatesh, Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, Secretary of Mangaluru Ramakrishna Mission Swami Jitakamanandaji and others were present.
