Mangalore: A lady pedestrian was killed after a speeding car knocked her down on the National Highway in Adyar, outskirt of the city on Wednesday.

Soon after the car plying from B.C Road knocked her down, Samad Sompady, who witnessed the incident rushed to the help and brought her to a private hospital in Mangalore. However, she later succumbed to the injuries.
