Mangaluru: Citizens of Mangaluru might see one of the biggest traffic jams very soon.

With the Padil-Pumpwell road concretizing work beginning on March 10, the city traffic police have taken a few decisions to facilitate the work.

The Padil-Pumpwell road is going to be a one-way stretch with motorists from BC Road using the Padil-Capitanio route. Those who want to drive towards BC road have to go through Nanthoor-Maroli-Padil route.

Nanthoor circle might be soon a haven for traffic jams with vehicles coming from Udupi, Pumpwell, Moodbidri and Mangaluru city meeting at the same place. One should only hope that the Kadri-Nanthoor road concrete work is finished as it has already led to huge traffic jams at Nanthoor Circle.

With rain in a couple of months, the matters could get worse. One should only hope that the work undertaken should be complete soon.
