Mangaluru: A fire erupted at a house near Raghavendra Mutt in the city on Thursday afternoon.

While short circuit is suspected to be the reason behind the mishap, the loss, as of now has been estimated to be over Rs one lac.

The house was rented to a one Bhimal.
