Over 9.39 lakh Sakala applications cleared in DK : Shalini Rajaneesh

Mangalore:  Shalini Rajaneesh, Secretary of the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department,  has informed that  9,39,401 applications out of the total 9,64,555 applications received in the district under Sakala scheme,  have been disposed.

Speaking to the media at the Deputy Commissioners office on July 15, Monday, she said  at the state level 2.75 crore applications out of the total 2.84 applications have been disposed.

She further said there were plans to introduce 110 more services under the Sakala scheme  and added a total of  375 services pertaining to 21 departments will  be available under Sakala scheme.

A Help Desk has also been opened to ensure that the benefits of Sakala reaches maximum number of people, Shalini informed.

She said henceforth online services will get more importance and informed as many as 31 services were now available online. From August 16 onwards all services under Sakala will be available online, she informed.

N Prakash, Deputy Commissioner, Dayanand, Additional DC were also present.
