Mangaluru: Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandalaje asked the Congress High Command to expel its leaders who have sought proof for the recent airstrike of Indian Air Force (IAF).

Speaking to the reporters at Circuit House on Sunday, March 3 Karandalaje said, “top Congress leaders including Digvijay Singh have sought proof for the airstrike. They have suspected the bravery of our security forces, which is not any less than sedition. The Congress High Command should immediately expel them from their party.”

Meanwhile, Karandalaje informed that the BJP would welcome Sumalatha Ambareesh if she willing to join the party. “The BJP is still clueless whether Sumalatha is contesting from Mandya constituency independently or through the Congress. If she seeks the support of the BJP or wants to join our party, we will welcome her”, she said.
