Nursing student commits suicide in PG room; Suicide note recovered

Mangaluru: A nursing student from Kerala, aged around 23 years, committed suicide in her PG room located in Attavar, on Friday, October 25.

The deceased has been identified as Anupama. She has left behind a suicide note in which she blamed a person named Allen as the reason for her extreme step.

Sources from the police department have informed that Anupama was a nursing student in a reputed Medical College of the city. She was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her PG room at the Manju Shetty Compound, late night on Friday night.

It is said that she had been staying at the PG for a year.

Police recovered her suicide-note from the spot and an investigation is underway.
