Karkala:Students of the Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology have won the Best Project Award at the State level 36th Students Project Programme (SPP) Seminar and Exhibition organised in Belgaum recently. The event was organized by the Angadi Institute of Technology and Management of Belgaum.

The Civil Engineering students of NMAMIT under the guidance of Dr Radhakrishnan K, Professor of Geo Sciences had prepared a project entitled ‘Targeting and Evaluating Ground Water Resource in Hard Rock Terrains Using Integrated Geospatial Mappings for Sustainable Development’ which won the top place at the Belgaum event.

The  proud students who were part of this project are Roopa, Satwik T Shetty, Tanushree A Hegde and Sumith Kumar.
