Mangalore : Nikhilesh M Holla of Mangalore  was declared the Best Individual Player  in the below 17 years category at the chess tourney conducted as part of the 29th National Games  2013-14  held at Andhra Pradesh recently.

The event held from October 27 to 31  was organised by the School Games Federation of India and the venue was Tadepalligundam. Nikhilesh is a  student of Canara High School Urva.

Also a talented swimmer, Nikhilesh had won the third place in the 400 meter free style event at the SGFI  state level aquatic championship held at Bangalore in October.
