Mangalore: The foundation stone for the new community hall at Vamanjoor was laid at St Joseph the Worker Church, Vamanjoor on Sunday, August 31.















After doing the honors, MP of Dakshina Kannada, Nalin Kumar Kateel addressed the gathering and congratulated the parish priest and parishioners.
In his address, he said that Vamanjoor is a fast growing place and a hub for all round development in education, social, commercial and cultural fields. The community hall was essential and a long cherished dream of the entire society.
Ivan D’Souza, MLC; Mahabala Marla, Mayor, Mangalore City Corporation; Fr Valerian Pinto, parish priest, Cordel Church; Fr Cyprian Pinto, parish priest, also addressed the audience.
