New bldg of Bantwal First Class Magistrate Court inaugurated

Bantwal :  Dr K Bhaktavatsala, Karnataka High Court judge inaugurated the new building of first class magistrate court of Bantwal on October 26, Saturday. The new building  has come up at a cost of Rs 2.5 crores.

In his address, Dr Bhaktavatsala said  the government was giving priority to clear backlog of cases and also urged lawyers to ensure that cases are disposed quickly.

DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai  who presided over the function stressed the need to hold more legal aid camps.
B V Pinto, High Court Judge, Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP  were the chief guests.  Principal Sessions Judge  of Mangalore Chaudapurkar Arun, Senior civil judge of Bantwal A K Naveen Kumari, Principal civil judge Srinivas and Additional civil judge Jayaprakash D R were on the dais.
