Mangalore:“The first women’s college of Karnataka, St. Ann’s college will organize a National seminar on “Education and Women Empowerment” on 12th and 13th of September” said, the convener of the seminar Dr. A Shashikala.
She was addressing the media in the press meet held in the press club of Mangalore.
She said, “Famous journalist of Mumbai and writer Mrs. Kalpana Sharma will inaugurate the seminar and another famous journalist and eminent writer from Bangalore, Mrs.Ammu Joseph will render the key-note address”
“The concluding ceremony of the seminar will be held on September 13th at 2PM which will witness the presence of Social worker from Mysore, Roopa Rao, Proffessor of Maulana Azhad National Urdu University, Dr. Shahida and in the two days, about 40 research papers will be presented by eminent resource persons across the country,” she added.
Principal of the college Dr. Sister Leoneela Menezes, physical education director Mr.Suresh Kumar Shetty, were present at the occasion.
