Mangaluru: Even as opposition and a section of Congress leaders are up in arms against Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Kimmane Rathnakar over the PU question paper leak issue, District Congress interim President Ibrahim Kodichal has said that it is the PU Board which is responsible for the goof-up and not Kimmane.

“It is the lapse of the PU Board which has caused the disgraceful incident, not just once but twice in the span of ten days,” he said.

Speaking about the upcoming elections in Kotekar and Vittal Town Panchayat, he opined that the party will emerge victorious on the basis of the pro-people work done by the ruling party at the state.

“We did not performed well in TP/ZP elections due to false propaganda by the BJP, but I think the Bihar model defeat for the BJP will repeat here as well,” he said.
