Mangalore: The National president of Shreeramasena Pramod Muthalik has urged the state government to provide amenities to Hindu Pilgrim, alike to the facilities provided to Muslims for Hajj, on Tuesday November 26.


Addressing to the media personals at a press meet held at Arya samaj, he said, “The state government and the central government gives Rs 42,000, to a Hajj Pilgrim, likewise the Hindu’s must also get at least Rs 5000 for their visits to places such as Thirupathi and Aiyappa.”
He also insisted on development of these Pilgrimages and urged the government to build a cottage or quarters for Pilgrim’s in Shbarimalei.
“Since the terrorist activities in the coastal region are increasing and it has been discovered that the raw materials for the production of Bomb’s in the country has been supplied from Mangalore, the government should institute an Anti Terrorist Squad in the region”, he added.
Regarding the release of prisoners with good conduct he said, “From, 2005 the prisoners with good conduct have not been released, hence we also persist the state government to release the prisoners at least on the republic day.”
Shreeramsena district president Kumar Malemar and others were present at the occasion.
