Mangaluru: The “Muhurtha” for Tulu movie “Ammer Policeaa?” produced under the banner of D Kishore Shetty’s “Lakumi Cini Creations” will be held at Kateel Durgaparameshwari Temple on September 29.

Addressing the media here on September 27, Director Suraj Shetty who has directed two films “Ekka Saka” and “Pilibail Yamunakka” said, “‘Ammer Policeaa?’ is also a comedy with a good message for the society”.

He also said that the film would be co-produced by Rajesh B Shetty. Roopesh Shetty and Pooja Shetty will be in the lead roles in the film. Sandeep R Ballal will be the music director for the movie. Mahesh Yenmunur will be art director and Arjun Louis has written the songs for the film. Sathish Brahamavar is the production manager. Actors Aravind Bolar, Sathish Bandale, Prasanna Shetty Bailoor, Vismaya Vinayak, Mime Ramdas, Deepak Rai Panaje and Shashi Bellayaru form the rest of the cast.

“The film will be shot in Ira village of Konaje. We are expecting the film to be completed by October 24”, he said.

Film producer Kishore D Shetty and Cameraman Sachin S Shetty were also present in the press meet.
