MP Venkaiah Naidu accuses Congress of being double standard

Mangalore: “The Congress party is certain that it will be losing the up-coming Lok Sabha election, due to which they are frustrated and desperate in making last minute efforts”, said M Venkaiah Naidu, the MP and former BJP National President at a press conference on Friday January 31.  

Addressing the media personnel M Venkaiah Naidu said, “The petroleum minister Verrappa Moily had earlier on two occasion stated that the number of subsidized LPG cannot be raised due to fiscal reasons; but now with the LS elections nearing he has made these last minute changes, wherein from 12 LPG cylinders are been given moreover the likely, mandatory rule of having a Aadhar card to avail the LPG has also been waived out.”

He questioned, “I want to know who is responsible for the decrease as well as increase of the allotment of these subsidized LPG and on what basis have they made these changes?”

He further accused the Congress of creating gimmicks to influence people, he raised topic such as, the promised Women Reservation Bill which was announced 10 years ago by the congress that has still not seen the light of the day and other such concern such as black money and corruption in the country, the Telengana issue, the promises made to minorities etc.

Moreover he also alleged that the Congress is trying to play double standards politics and are opportunists. He said, “Whenever something bad happens to the party Manmohan Singh is blamed but when something good happens Rahul Gandhi is portrayed, although he is been positioned as the vice president of the Congress party.”
 
“The reason to this is because Rahul Gandhi fears rejection”, he added.

Admitting the fact that there were internal problems during the Assembly election due to which the party lost, Venkaiah Naidu said, “We have realized our mistakes and have come together again, we are rest assured that BJP will win and get majority on its own in the LS polls, wherein even after the LS election we will stick to the National development assembly.”

Ending his discussion, Naidu said that BJP is aiming at good governance.

It has been learnt that the MP and former BJP National President M Venkaiah Naidu will be monitoring the BJP campaigns to be adhered in the various part of Southern India. He will be mainly supervising the Modi Mass Rally in Mangalore, Gulbargh, Davangere and Hubli on February 18 after which there will be a Lok Sabha convention organized in the 42 constituencies, there will a Friends of BJP meet held, Intellectual gathering meet for the affluent in the society, an overseas friends meet will be organized and a social media camping will culminate the campaign.

It was also known that by the second week of February the electoral members from Karnataka will be decided.
