Moodbidri :  An unauthorised pipeline laid by the owners of a multi-storied construction located  in front of the Moodbidri Government Hospital and close by the TMC office, has been vacated by the TMC officials on March 25, Tuesday.

The operation was conducted under the leadership of TMC Chief Officer Rayappa and Engineer Padmanabha.

The TMC Chief Officer informed that without any permission of the TMC, the builder had  connected the waste water pipe to the storm water drain. Moreover, the water supply pipeline was damaged in the process. This has inconvenienced the people, he said and added on inspection it was found that the pipe was unauthorisedly laid.

He informed that a show cause notice would be issued to the building owner.

It has been learnt that  the building which was constructed in 2011 had secured NoC from the TMC even when it had violated the setback and construction rules.
