Karkala : “Corruption that rules the roost in the BJP has led to the jailing of the first ever BJP CM in Karnataka while several other ministers landed in jail,” said Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas M Veerappa Moily.

Addressing press persons here on April 8, Tuesday he said the Congress Government led by Siddaramaiah which rose to power in the state after the previous assembly elections has set a record with the chief minister implementing 95 out of the 168 promised projects within an hour. He also predicted a win for the Congress in over 20 LS constituencies of the state and added the UPA will form government at the Centre once again.
“Narendra Modi is a big challenge to the democratic system,” said Moily and alleged that “The BJP has offended Hindu religion by raising the slogan Hara Hara Narendra Modi instead of Hara Hara Mahadev.”
He said 5775 farmers have ended their lives during the BJPO rule in Modi’s Gujarat and that the state was in ninth spot as far as development of industrial areas are concerned.”What is the reason behind projecting the state of Gujarat as a model state at a time when it was lagging behind other states in various aspects?,” questioned Moily.
State Minister for Urban Development Vinay Kumar Sorake, SCDCC Bank Chairman MN Rajendra Kumar, Block Congress President Sudhaker Kotian, Udupi District Congress Vice President Santosh Kumar Shetty and others were present.
