Mangaluru: MLA Vedavyas Kamath has said that any company opting out of China will be welcomed whole-heartedly in Mangaluru.
In a facebook post, the MLA said: “Any company which is opting out from China, I will try my contacts to get them to Mlore. MLR South is in Urban sector with less space, but will definitely try to identify spaces which can get companies with atleast 2.5K employees each. This will be my immediate priority.”
He further added that he will put in his 200 per cent to get these companies to Mangaluru cuty.
“I will hold discussion with the state heads and make sure our Kudla gets the priority. Let our youth be wth us. This will be a major priority here onwards,” he said adding that he will hold discussion with experts and individuals for solution as far as space constrains in the city is concerned.
“Let us all hope that the companies consider us as the best,” he said seeking support from all and to make sure that Kudla trends for good news.
