Mangaluru: The dead body of a 35-year-old car driver who left his car near Nethravathi bridge on Wednesday, was found floating at Ullal beach on Friday, April 17.

Vikram Gatti, a resident of Ullal, Someshwar went missing on Wednesday. His car was found parked near Nethravathi bridge in Ullal area.

Vikram was staying with his wife and four-year old-son in Pulichandi village. He left his house on Wednesday saying that he was going going out in his car so that the car battery remains charged.

When he did not return home and his mobile phone was switched off, a missing complaint was registered at Konaje police station.

After a day long search operation, his body was found floating near Ullal beach on Friday morning.

It is suspected that hehwas committed suicide by jumping from the bridge.

The exact reason for his extreme step is yet to be known.
