Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court has resolved to cancel the summer vacation for the High Court and all other District Courts and Trial Court.

The decision has been taken by the Full Court on April 13.

The summer vacation was scheduled to take place between April 27 and May 23 this year.

The Court has also declared ‘closure’ of HC and all subordinate courts during the period of extended lockdown till May 3.

“It is declared that there shall be ‘closure’ of all the District and Trial Courts, Family Courts, Labour Courts and InIndustrial Tribunals in the State from April 15 to May 3, 2020 (both days inclusive). This period will be treated as the period of closure of the Court in aacordace with Section 4 of the Limitation Act, 1963”, the notification said.
