Mangalore:  Some unidentified assailants have attempted to kill two youth by stabbing them near SCDCC Bank on the KS Rao Road  here on November 5, Tuesday afternoon.

The victims are Lateef and Naser. They were attacked when they were returning from the Sessions Court  after  giving their witness in a  murder case.

The two were immediately rushed to the hospital. The condition of one of the injured is said to be critical.

The Bunder police have visited the spot and are investigating the case.
