Bantwal : Some miscreants have damaged a Qualis vehicle that was parked at Melinapete in Kalladka by throwing a bottle towards it on February 6, Thursday night.

The vehicle belonged to one Harris who had parked it on the roadside when the incident took  place. Soon after the incident police forced  all shops and business establishments in the town to down their shutters.

This even sparked rumours of communal violence  making matters worse.  Bantwal Circle Inspector Rajashekhar Mistri, Inspector Sanjay Kallura and others are overseeing the security arrangements.
