Mangaluru: In a tragic incident one among four medical students who had been to Tannirbavi died here on Thursday, July 28.

The deceased has been identified as Bhargav, a student of A J Hospital. In the mishap, Bhargav’s friend Bharath suffered injuries, while Rakshith Reddy who was driving the car and Jills George escaped unhurt.

The incident occurred on Thursday late night near Tannirbavi guesthouse, when the driver of the car lost control over the vehicle and hit the divider, said Surathkal police.

A case has been registered at Surathkal traffic station.
