Mangaluru: CCB investigators apprehended a suspect, identified as Thouseef, also known as Thouchi, aged 23 and residing in Bajal, for transporting MDMA valued at Rs 45,000 in an autorickshaw on Thursday.
Acting on a tip-off about the accused’s alleged involvement in supplying MDMA to college students and the public near Coelho Lane in Falnir, the police conducted a raid.
During the operation, the CCB team confiscated 9 grams of MDMA, a mobile phone, a digital weighing machine, and an autorickshaw valued at Rs 5.1 lakh from the apprehended individual.
