FoB Extension Planned for Mangaluru Platforms, Shelter by Monsoon

Mangaluru: The Southern Railway will soon extend another foot-over bridge (FoB) to the newly constructed platforms 4-5 at Mangaluru Central Railway Station, following the completion of the first FoB extension that connected Platforms 1 to 3.

In response to the absence of shelters on the recently added platforms, the Palakkad division of the Southern Railway has initiated plans to construct platform shelters that will provide coverage along the entire length of the new platforms, ensuring protection for passengers from both rain and sun.
