Mangaluru: The Mangaluru City Corporation officials continued the crackdown on the illegal petty shops even on Thursday as they went on an eviction drive on second day in Kankanady, Pumpwell and nearby areas.

The second day of the drive kick started early on Thursday morning in the presence of most of the MCC Officials.

The Deputy Commissioner, last week had ordered for the eviction of unauthorised shops in the city.
