MBA graduate arrested for stealing gold

Mulky: On July 17, the police have arrested an MBA graduate, who was allegedly involved in stealing 74 grams of Gold worth 2.22 lakhs from the house he was working in as a car driver.

The arrested is identified as Vishwas Poojary(26), was working as a car driver at Madhu Acharya’s house in Mulky.

He looted the gold when the owner of the house had gone to a relatives house along with other family members. The owner used to keep the car key in the showcase where gold was also kept. So the owner had complained to the police suspecting Vishwas.

After investigation Vishwas has accepted the theft and it is learnt that he was jailed in many other cases. Police have recovered the gold which Vishwas had kept in different banks and has been produced in the court.

A case has been registered in Mulky police station.
