Manjeshwar: Electricity consumers coming under Manjeshwar sub-station will never run out of power in the future as solar power will ensure continuous power supply in the area in the coming months.

Solar panel installation is in progress and the mini solar plant is likely to generate 500 KW of electric power.

The project is first of its kind and will ensure 24/7 power supply in case of any major break down in power supply grid. A Bangalore-based company is in charge of the project and the plant is likely to be operational within 2 months period.
