Sullia : In a tragic incident reported from Subrahmanya, a person from Pavoor Koppala in Manjeshwara drowned in the Kumaradhara Bathing Ghat while having a holy dip on August 19, Monday. The deceased person has been identified as Sachin (43).
Tragically, he died right in front of his family members who helplessly watched him drown as there were no expert swimmers in the area who could come to his rescue.
It is learnt, Sachin had come along with his family members to the Subrahmanya shrine for Naga Dosha Parihara. The family was on a visit to pilgrim shrines in various places.
