Manipal:The Manipal police have on August 22, Thursday, submitted the charge sheet in the case of gang rape of a medical student of Manipal University. The charge sheet was submitted before the Udupi court. Even the forensic report which can be a major evidence to prove the charges, was submitted before the court.

The police have charge sheeted the main accused Yogish, Hariprasad and Anand and also Harindra and Balachandra who have been charged with destroying evidences and helping the main accused.

All the five of them are in judicial custody and their custody period is to end on August 26. The hearing in this case is expected to begin very soon.
