Mangaluru: A PUC student from Narikombu Nayakala, who dug a well during his vacation, is happy with the well filled with water. Srujan, son of Lokanath, a resident of Nayala, is a student who dug a well.

Tap water was the only refuge in his house, but he was facing a lot of difficulty in water due to repeated water logging for a number of reasons. So the boy always said that he would dig a well. But the family did not take it seriously and scolded them. Srujan had written his first PUC exams and started digging a well alone during vacations and got enough water last week. As the well became deeper, he filled three or four baskets of mud and then came up and pulled it alone and emptied the soil. Water was found at a depth of about 24 feet and 3 feet of water was filled. This summer too, there is so much water available. Srujan’s efforts have been appreciated by the family members and appreciated by the residents of the village.
