Mangaluru: Revenue Department official shows humanity, hands over money

Mangaluru: An official of the Taluk Revenue Department has shown humanity by tracing the money lying in the ATM with the help of the Police Department and distributing it to the owners.

Muktabai, a retired employee of Bantwal Taluk Office, had lost her money. Revenue Department Officials Seetharama showed humanity by helping her trace the money.

On February 27, Rs. 9,000 cash was recovered from Canara Bank ATM in B. C. Road and it was handed over to the heirs in the presence of the Police at Bantwal City Police Station on March 2.

Seetharama, a Taluk Office Staff who had gone to withdraw money from B. C. Road Canara Bank ATM on February 27, handed over Rs. 9,000 in cash lying at the ATM to Bantwal City Police Station.
