Mangaluru: Renowned Mangaluru Dasara (Navaratri) 2016 will be held from October 1 to 11 at Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Kshetra.
Addressing the reporters, Temple Managing Committee Treasurer Padmaraj R said that the event will begin with Guru Prarthana and the installation of the Nava Durga and Sharada will be held simultaneously on the first day at the Swarna Kalamantapa at 11.15 am.

The awaited ‘Dasara Shobhayathre’ or procession will be held on October 11 at 4 pm. The procession will proceed from the main streets of the city which will be decorated with lacs of colourful lights,” Padmaraj added.

Former minister B Janardhan Poojary, temple managing committee H S Sai Ram, vice president Raghavendra Kulur, Ravishankar Mijar, Harikrishna Bantwal, K Mahesh Chandra, Dr Anusuya B T Salian, D D Kattemar, Leelaksha Karkera and others were present.
