Mangaluru: The Mangaluru City Corporation has taken a proactive step to address drinking water issues in the city by launching a dedicated helpline. Citizens can now voice their concerns regarding water-related issues by calling 0824-2220306/319 or sending complaints via WhatsApp to 9449007722.

The helpline facilitates reporting on various issues, including areas experiencing inadequate water supply and damage to water supply pipelines during ongoing projects such as the installation of cooking gas supply lines and the implementation of new water supply lines under the Jalasiri scheme. In case of water supply disruptions, residents are encouraged to contact the helpline for assistance, as stated in a release from the Executive Engineer (water supply) of the civic body.
